The bible reminds me of a day time soap opera, so melodramtic and people dont stay dead!!

i agree. the bible is a sham. jesus was a guy who one day went against everyone else and said "my way of thinking is better." that is why he was killed. people who belive in the stories of the bible and jesus are gullible. if someone came out today and was like "im gods other son" - people would think he was crazy. How come just because the bible came about a long time ago, people take it more seriously? it would make sense to me that a document written a long time ago and re-translated an inumerable amount of times would just be a propogation of error.

Historical fiction mixed with some Garcia-Marquez syle magical realism.
It goes in the "Farce" section.
The first five books of The Bible belong in the "advanced science that God knows that humans don't know yet" genre.
Religion
Myths, superstitions, folklore and legends ... like a glove.

If you want to call it a work of fiction you have that choice but I don't think it would fit into Fantasy or Sci-Fi.
